RURAL SCHOOLS

Rural schools often do not have the staffing necessary to be able to provide a wide range of opportunities for students.

Tairāwhiti REAP employs three staff members that support our schools with a range of opportunities, often bringing ākonga from several rural schools together to participate in activities.

We work with a wide range of organisations to take learning to students in our far flung, and often remote, small schools.

Professional learning and development opportunities are often coordinated by our staff, working with providers.
